§ Mr. Wyn RobertsThe M4 is the only motorway in Wales. Eighteen miles are lit. Fifteen miles had lighting installed during construction and a further three miles had lighting installed as part of a subsequent road widening. The extent of motorway lighting is being kept under review, but there are no plans at present for further lighting.
