Each Department is responsible for purchasing its own 131W vehicles and in the year to 30 October 1985 my Department purchased 75 vehicles comprising 28 cars (18 Austin Rover, 10 Ford), 44 vans (40 Ford, two Freight Rover, two Bedford) and three Land Rovers.
