Mr. John Mark Taylorasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if he will make a statement concerning assistance given by Her Majesty's Government to Peter Glibbery of Shirley in Solihull currently held in custody in Costa Rica.
§ Mr. EggarSince Mr. Glibbery's arrest on 24 April he has received almost weekly consular visits. Representations have been made by HM ambassador on three occasions at a very high level, in addition to regular approaches by his staff at official level, to secure Mr. Glibbery's release or to bring his case to court.
