§ Mr. Giles ShawThe Home Office crime prevention centre provides expert advice on how buildings and construction sites may be made more secure. In addition, at the instigation of the Home Office, the British Standards Institution has prepared a guide on the security of dwellings. This is expected to be published in February and will provide specific guidance on security measures which can be incorporated in a range of new and existing dwellings.
