§ Mr. Peter BottomleyConsultations are in progress for new regulations to replace the Asbestos Regulations 1969. These regulations would apply to the removal of asbestos.
Controls for the disposal of asbestos waste are the responsibility of my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for the Environment.
