§ Mr. Heddleasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department when a decision is likely to be made in the case of Miss Marina Theodorou of Roman Park, Lichfield, Staffordshire, who made an application for a work permit on 9 September 1985.
§ Mr. WaddingtonMiss Theodorou's application was referred by the Home Office to the Department of Employment on 16 October for consideration as to whether it met the requirements of the work permit scheme. I understand that the Department of Employment will need to make further inquiries before it can reach a decision on the application and that it will accordingly shortly be in contact with Miss Theodorou's prospective employer.
