(2) if he will make it his policy to offer a subsidised home advisory service for the disabled customers of British Gas if the corporation is privatised;
226W(3) if he will make it his policy that leaflets on gas safety should be printed in all languages used by citizens in the United Kingdom in the event of the privatisation of British Gas.
§ Mr. Buchanan-SmithSafety checks for elderly and disabled people living alone are available now from the British Gas Corporation, which also takes appropriate steps to bring safety issues to the attention of ethnic minorities. The new company will maintain the corporation's excellent safety record and continue to provide help to particular groups who may require it.
