§ Mr. Simsasked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry what action has been taken in regard to proposed discriminatory Portuguese value added tax and alcohol tax legislation.
§ Mr. ChannonHer Majesty's Government have made firm representations to the European Commission on these issues.
