§ Mr. RentonWe are concerned about any significant nuclear facility which is not subject to International Atomic Energy Authority safeguards in any non-nuclear weapon state which is not a party to the non-proliferation treaty. We are particularly concerned about unsafeguarded enrichment or reprocessing facilities in such countries. According to the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute, facilities of this kind exist or are under construction in the following countries:
Country Facility Argentina Uranium Enrichment Plant and Re-processing Plant. India Re-processing plants. Israel Re-processing plant. Pakistan Uranium Enrichment Plant and Re-processing Plants. South Africa Uranium Enrichment Plants.
