§ Mr. Meadowcroftasked the Secretary of State for Social Services, pursuant to the reply of 17 April, Official Report, column 215, if he will break down the figure of £170 million per annum cost to the National Health Service of diseases to which smoking is a major 545W contributory factor into the cost of (a) inpatient treatment, (b) outpatient and inpatient treatment and (c) family practitioner services.
