§ Mr. Deakinsasked the Prime Minister what is the policy of Her Majesty's Government towards United States policies towards Nicaragua, especially its economic and trade boycott.
§ The Prime MinisterWe share with the United States Administration the common objectives of promoting stability, security and peaceful development in central America. Like them we want to see progress in Nicaragua towards the establishment of genuine pluralist democracy, 531W the scaling down of armaments and an end to support for subversion of neighbouring states. We have not been asked to participate in the United States economic boycott.
