§ Mr. GoodladThe Central Electricity Generating Board's responsibilities with regard to the environment are set out in section 37 of the Electricity Act 1957. While I do not set specific performance targets in this area, the board is required, in common with the rest of industry, to comply with any general statutory environmental limits applicable to its operations.
