§ Dame Judith Hartasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what response he will make at the European Economic Community Council of Ministers to the Commission proposal that aid to Nicaragua should be doubled by member countries.

§ Mr. RaisonThe Commission has not to date communicated to the Council any proposal to this effect. But the Commission is expected soon to forward proposals on ways by which the European Community could further relations, including aid, with Central America following the meeting last year of Foreign Ministers in San José.
