§ Sir George YoungMy right hon. Friend the Secretary of State has no plans at present to introduce legislation relating to restrictions on access to waiting lists for local authority housing or to the allocation of such housing. He is, however, concerned that authorities should concentrate their provision on those in the greatest housing need and is considering whether further steps to encourage this would be appropriate.
