§ Mr. Allan StewartRecent work in this field has included the 1977 Pack report on truancy and indiscipline, the 1981 report by the Convention of Scottish Local Authorities on discipline in Scottish schools and various detailed research projects commissioned by the Scottish Education Department. It is for education authorities to take account of such investigations in determining school policies and organisation.
