HC Deb 20 May 1985 vol 79 c336W
Mr. D. E. Thomas

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if he will list the number and types of nuclear weapons and nuclear explosive devices cancelled or dismantled since 1952 as a result of multinational nuclear disarmament negotiations involving Britain, the United States of America and the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics.

Mr. Luce

The United Kingdom is not a party to any arms control agreements which have required us to destroy any of our nuclear weapons. The questions of which systems have been dismantled by the United States and USSR is a matter for the Governments of those countries.
