§ Mr. Wyn RobertsNo. In the main, proposals under the strategy are considered in the context of the comprehensive plans prepared in each of the counties and the vanguard districts. These plans are in various stages of preparation or implementation. Those for South Glamorgan, West Glamorgan and Clwyd were approved last June and that for Gwent was approved last week. Plans for the Gwynedd (non-vanguard area) and Rhondda (vanguard district) are under consideration within the Welsh Office and the remaining four plans have yet to be formally submitted to me by the relevant planning groups.
