Friend has received no recent representations about the gold identified for allocation to Albania which is in the custody of the Tripartite Commission for the Restitution of Monetary Gold. On the matter of a statement, I have nothing to add to the answer my hon. Friend Minister of State, the Member for Edinburgh, Pentlands (Mr. Rifkind) gave on 25 April at column517 to the hon. Member for Liverpool, West Derby (Mr. Wareing).
