§ Mr. John Stradling ThomasAs my hon. Friend knows, we expect to receive by the end of the year the consultants' formal report on the extent of the need for bypasses of the five villages. This will include an assessment of environmental benefits as well as the likely cost effectiveness of the proposals. Final decisions on routes and decisions on priorities must await this report.
