§ Sir George YoungThree applications have been received in respect of one GLC scheme. We intervened on cost grounds, but are willing to consider more economical proposals.
§ Mr. Tony Banksasked the Secretary of State for the Environment if, in the event of the Greater London council being abolished, local district councils in receipt of Greater London council seaside and country homes will be allowed to allocate such homes to tenants who are not elderly.
§ Sir George YoungWe expect all such homes to be allocated to elderly people.
§ Mr. Tony Banksasked the Secretary of State for the Environment when Greater London council seaside and country homes will be transferred to local district councils in the event of the Greater London council being abolished.
