§ Mr. JoplingI have received a number of representations expressing concern about the possible impact of the revised expenditure provisions on research and development and the advisory services. In response I have expressed the view that I regard it as reasonable that those who benefit from such activities should make a greater financial contribution towards the cost of undertaking them.
