§ Sir Keith JosephI am sending Dr. Mount and others who have written to me on the subject a statement of the Government's position on university teachers' pay. That makes it clear that the request of the Association of 179W University Teachers for an independent committee of inquiry falls to be considered with the university employers in committee A in the first instance.
