§ Mr. Alex Carlileasked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry (1) whether, in the light of the recent report of the Monopolies and Mergers Commission, the Ford Motor Company Ltd. has agreed to give undertakings to the Office of Fair Trading concerning the manufacture by other companies of replacement car body panels; and if he will make a statement;
(2) when he expects the Director General of Fair Trading to complete his current discussions with the Ford Motor Company Ltd. in connection with the manufacture of replacement car body panels.
