§ Mrs. Roeasked the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland if he will take steps to introduce in Northern Ireland the provisions of the Employment Act 1982 and the Trade Union Act 1984.
§ Mr. HurdFollowing consultations with interested bodies, it is my intention to bring forward a proposal for legislation in Northern Ireland which will reflect the changes introduced in Great Britain by the Employment Act 1982. The application to Northern Ireland of the provisions of the Trade Union Act 1984 will be addressed in further discussions with interested bodies which will now get underway.
