§ Mr. GoodladThe strength of the Atomic Energy Authority constabulary as at 1 April 1985 was 654. Officers of the Atomic Energy Authority constabulary are not employed under the Atomic Energy Authority (Special Constables) Act 1976. The constabulary exists by virtue of the Special Constables Act 1923 as applied by the Atomic Energy Authority Act 1954.
