§ Mrs. FennerIn response to recent representations we have confirmed that the funding of the soil survey is unchanged for the current year and will be set at around half the present level in 1986–87. We believe that the wide 523W range of interests which make use of the expertise of the survey offers scope for it to operate more commercially in the future.
