§ Mr. Stanley[pursuant to his reply, 8 May 1985, c. 383]: The responsibilities of the former Defence Secretariat 17 for nuclear and conventional arms control and disarmament have passed to the defence arms control unit, while the division's other nuclear policy responsibilities have been allocated to the director of nuclear policy and security.
