§ Mr. Tom KingFour thousand organisations and individuals were consulted on the proposals for the 357W jobcentre network and some 3,000 of these replied. The plans, which are now being implemented, will increase the number of jobcentres to the highest level ever, whilst at the same time improved efficiency will produce savings of some £8 million a year.
