§ Mr. Gregoryasked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry if he will list the grants over £10,000 given by the English tourist board to aid tourist development projects in each of the last five years, specifying also where appropriate the ultimate holding company of the recipient of the grant.
§ Mr. Norman LamontThe English Tourist board made 1,800 grant offers to tourism projects under section 4 of the Development of Tourism Act 1969 during the five financial years 1980-81 to 1984-85. Details of individual grants of over £10,000 could be provided only at disproportionate cost.
