§ Mr. RentonAs required by article IX (5) of the treaty, we have promptly informed all signatory and acceding states of the date of each signature, the date of deposit of each instrument of ratification or accession, and the date of the treaty's entry into force. As required by article IX (6), we registered the treaty pursuant to article 102 of the United Nations Charter. We have also played a full part in setting up the third non-proliferation treaty review conference to be held in Geneva in September 1985.
