Owing to the unexpected resignation of one of these, only two men have recently been based at the two centres. A third permanent examiner is expected to be posted there on 1 July. Meantime, the traffic area office is posting in examiners temporarily to help out. A fourth permanent examiner is being recruited as soon as practicable.
