§ Dr. Cunninghamasked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will give details of the £15 million reduction in the new town non-voted cash limit DOE/NTI for 1984–85 used to fund the increase in the National Heritage Memorial Fund for 1984–85.
§ Mr. Patrick JenkinCash block DOE/NTI is the net provision for capital expenditure by all new town corporations in England after allowing for their capital receipts. Capital receipts in 1984–85 were greater than expected when the cash limit was set. It was therefore possible to reduce the net cash limit without affecting in any way the provision for gross expenditure.
