asked the Attorney-General what consideration has been given to encouraging greater specialisation among magistrates in juvenile court work, as referred to in the Government reply to the second report of the Social Services Committee, Session 1983–84, Cmnd. 9298.

The Lord Chancellor has in mind changes affecting the advisory committee on the training of magistrates, and when these have been made consideration will be given to the question of encouraging greater specialisation in juvenile court work.
