asked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry if he will make a statement on the future funding of citizens advice bureaux.

The Government will continue to fund the National Association of Citizens Advice Bureaux and the Scottish Association of Citizens Advice Bureaux. Funding of individual bureaux will remain primarily a matter for local authorities.
