§ Mr. TrippierWe are already implementing some of the proposals—in the areas of VAT, wages councils, employment protection; in others, further work and consultation will be necessary before firm decisions are taken. My right hon. and noble Friend the Minister without Portfolio is co-ordinating the Government's drive to reduce regulatory burdens as a whole and to ensure that the impetus of the scrutiny is maintained.
