§ Mr. Nicholas Bakerasked the Secretary of State for Employment if he will publish the numbers of young British workers obtaining places on the European Community young workers exchange programme; and if he is satisfied at the number of British workers by comparison with their European counterparts obtaining places on this programme.
§ Mr. Peter BottomleyDuring the years 1979–1983 young people from the United Kingdom obtained 779 of 3,977 places allocated under the second programme of exchanges. I am satisfied that the UK is getting a fair share of the places allocated on this schemes.
