§ Mr. RentonThe Peruvian Government participate in the work of the United Nations Commission on Human Rights and is well aware of our views on human rights issues. We understand that the Peruvian Government have responded to allegations of human rights abuses by inviting the UNCHR working group on involuntary and enforced disappearances to investigate the situation for themselves.
