§ Mr. Kilroy-Silkasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department when he will be laying the order bringing into operation the Repatriation of Prisoners Act.
§ Mr. MellorMy right hon. and learned Friend made an order on 25 March appointing 15 April 1985 as the day on which the Act will come into force. We plan to ratify the Council of Europe convention on the transfer of sentenced persons before the end of April.
