§ Mr. BrookeFull details of alpha grade research projects from all research councils are not yet available for 1984–85, but the overall number thus graded exceeded 3,000 in each of the four years 1980 to 1984, and the list of titles and proposals asked for could not be provided except at disproportionate cost.
