§ Mr. Dewarasked the Secretary of State for Scotland what percentage of the total expenditure and of revenue expenditure of local authorities in Scotland is met by domestic, commercial and industrial ratepayers, respectively, in the latest year for which figures are available; and what he estimates these figures will be in the year 1985–86.
§ Mr. YoungerFigures based on budget information for 1984–85 contained in the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy publication "Rating Review" are set out below. A provisional estimate for 1985–86 has also been provided.
