asked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will list in the Official Report the up-to-date roads programme for which he has responsibility for (a) the Grampian region and (b) Banff and Buchan constituency.

In addition to the Laurencekirk bypass and the Scotston to Candy schemes on the A94 which are now under construction, the Scottish Development Department's trunk road programme includes the following major road improvement schemes in Grampian region:
