§ Mr. Michael SpicerThe report on this tragic accident will be published by HMSO on 21 March 1985. The wreckage was recovered from the seabed and transported to the accidents investigation branch (AIB) facilities at Farnborough, where an extremely detailed examination failed to reveal any technical faults that could have caused the accident. The report contains eight safety recommendations. Seven have been accepted by the Civil Aviation Authority and are being processed by it.
