§ The Prime MinisterThere is no precise measure of current or future demand for graduate engineers, and quality is as important as quantity, but there are strong indications of growing demand for greater numbers, primarily in areas relevant to information technology. We have already taken a number of steps to increase output and further measures will be announced later today.
