§ Mr. Johnstonasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what steps the military authorities in West Berlin are prepared to take to assure citizens who live in its vicinity that military activities in the grounds of Spandau prison do not constitute a danger.
§ Mr. RentonThe British Military Government Berlin is prepared to take all action necessary for the safety of citizens living in the British Sector of Berlin. Spandau prison is guarded, in monthly rotation, by soldiers of the four powers. I am not aware that this has posed problems to people living nearby.
