§ Mr. Clifford Forsytheasked the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland what steps his Department proposes to take to enable the improvement of container facilities for exporters of goods manufactured in Northern Ireland.
§ Dr. BoysonResponsibility for the provision of facilities for the handling of containerised goods traffic through Northern Ireland commercial ports rests with the individual port authorities and the stevedoring companies. Grant assistance towards the provision of such facilities is available under the Department of Economic Development's port modernisation grant scheme.
