§ Mr. John Morrisasked the Attorney-General whether, in view of the rate of acquittal for less serious offences which were alleged to have taken place in the course of the mining dispute, he will ask the Director of Public Prosecutions to consult and advise chief constables as regards the handling of the less serious offences still to be determined.
§ The Attorney-GeneralIt is not the practice of the Director of Public Prosecutions to give to chief constables policy advice of the nature suggested.
