§ Mr. Chapmanasked the Solicitor-General for Scotland if he will make a statement explaining why the procurator fiscal's office did not take proceedings in a case brought to his attention by the Architects Registration Council of the United Kingdom concerning an alleged contravention of section 1 of the Architects Registration Act 1938 in respect of an incident on 7 September 1983.
§ The Solicitor-General for ScotlandAn alleged breach of sections 1 and 3 of the Architects Registration Act 1938 was reported to the procurator fiscal at Edinburgh on 7 November 1983. The procurator fiscal instructed the police to make inquiries and to report the results of their investigation to him. Investigation was made by them and when the police report was received by the procurator fiscal it was considered and marked "no proceedings".
