§ Mr. Donald Stewartasked the Secretary of State for Defence how many air misses were recorded in the vicinity of Stornoway airport in each of the past 15 years; and if he will provide a breakdown of these figures into misses between: (a) two civil aircraft, (b) two military aircraft and (c) a civil and a military aircraft.
§ Mr. LeeThere has been a total of three each involving one civil and one military aircraft. They occurred in the years 1973, 1974 and 1976. Vicinity has been defined as within 10 miles.
