HC Deb 08 March 1985 vol 74 c617W
Mr. Deakins

asked the Secretary of State for Employment, pursuant to his answer to the hon. Member for Walthamstow on 18 February, Official Report, column 351, about the educational attainment of unemployed school leavers, if a similar breakdown can be provided for unemployed school leavers (a) from the ethnic minorities, (b) from the Greater London area and (c) from the London borough of Waltham Forest.

Mr. Alan Clark

Following is the available information using final results of the 1983 labour force survey, including revisions to the figures given in my earlier reply of 18 February. The estimates are subject to sampling errors, which are greater for the ethnic minorities and for Greater London than for national totals. Corresponding figures are not available for Waltham Forest.
