§ Mr. MacfarlaneThe Department is commissioning research on the operation of the market for office accommodation in London and the South East. Central to that research is the relationship between the demand for and the supply of office accommodation. The objectives are to identify the characteristics and determinants of office supply and availability, including the influences upon the office development process, and to identify obstacles to the efficient operation of the market.
